Here goes the abstract of the 8 September 2010 Green Chemistry article</strong></em>:<br /><br />Furfural production through traditional processes is accompanied by acidic waste stream production and high energy consumption. Modern furfural production process concepts will have to consider environmental concerns and energy requirements besides economics, moreover will have to be integrated within widened biorefinery concepts.

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva;">'It's certainly very exciting and you know it adds to the uniqueness and of the Whitsunday area,' said Whitsunday Regional Council CEO John Finlay.</span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva;">The Furfural Plant at the Proserpine Mill which was <a href="http://www.dalinyebo.co.za/media-room-mainmenu-46/dy-media-release/170-opening-of-furfural-plant">officially opened in May</a>, is the only bio refinery of its kind in the sugar industry.</span></span></span></span></p>

The last digestors is expected to be on-line by the end of this week, when the focus will shift to the commissioning of furfural (FF) purification plant. Assessing the good construction progress of the Furfuryl Alcohol (FA) plant, DalinYebo Trading and Development (Pty) Ltd, ABPL's overseas sales agent for furfural and furfuryl alcohol, expects therefore to ship FF in July and FA in August 2010.</span></span>]]></description>

            <title>Furfural Plant Opens</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<img style="float: left;" alt="PSM_Dispatch_600x370" height="150" width="244" src="http://www.dalinyebo.co.za/images/stories/media_release/2010/PSM_Dispatch_600x370.jpg" /><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva;">The <a href="http://www.dalinyebo.co.za/media-room-mainmenu-46/1-dy-media/81-proserpine-updates-on-furfural-project-progress">PSM (Proserpine Sugar Mill) Biorefinery's long awaited furfural</a> plant is set to be formally opened on Friday 7 May 2010.&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva;">The plant, which was completed last year, was scheduled to be officially opened in March this year but the arrival of Cyclone Ului delayed the event. PSM is awaiting the cane season to start at the end of June before commissioning of the furfural plant can re-start.&nbsp;<br /></span></span>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva;">In the meantime the <a href="http://www.dalinyebo.co.za/media-room-mainmenu-46/1-dy-media/2-indian-company-chooses-suprayieldr-license-process-to-manufacture-furfural">Indian SupraYield plant</a> has commenced the commissioning phase. They have already done&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-size: 11px;"><span><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva;">a small number of runs.
